What is Unified Search?

Easily accessing your communication outlets is just as important as keeping them organized. Often times, you need to tediously comb through emails and messaging history to locate important files or information.

Webphone helps to solve this problem. Users can utilize Webphone's powerful search filters that provide an extensive search by author, date, content type, and more. In addition, filters can be configured and saved just one time, which automatically prompts Webphone to search through the entire platform. This also includes emails from your linked accounts.

You can use also use the keyword search, but as your Webphone grows, it may become challenging to locate specific messages. Use search filters to quickly narrow down your results. Through these filters, you can:

  • Search for messages by keywords using the Related to filter to find the related content within your conversations.

  • Search for messages before a specific date by using the Before, On, and After filters.

Starting a Search

There are two ways to access Unified Search within a browser. You can primarily do so from the plus sign icon in the bottom left of your Webphone screen. There, you will see the option to Search your Webphone.

The second way is within a Conversation or Topic. Locate the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner of the page. This will bring you to a page to search by keyword or to filter your search via Filters.
