To begin setting up call plans, the enterprise owner or administrator must have an existing provider or carrier and retain approved numbers from them. It is at the sole discretion of the admin to choose specific numbers for users, as well as the amount of users that are able to use a device.
Follow these steps:
Confer with your carrier about the provisioning of new numbers and devices. Select numbers for each user; you can remove or change the numbers assigned to users at any time.
A device/virtual number can be assigned to only one user, however, one user may have multiple devices. Though virtual numbers don't require confirmation, other devices must be confirmed by their designated user through either an SMS Code or Voice Call. A message will display indicating if the confirmation has been successful or if it has failed:
SMS: To confirm via SMS, the user will be sent a link that will generate a code. The code must be entered on the device within 90 seconds; after this time has expired, they must generate another code.
Voice Call: To confirm via voice call, the user will press a Call Me button that will prompt an audio message providing the code. This message will repeat for 30 seconds, or until the user hangs up.
3. Allow users to configure their phone settings:
Users can name their devices, but each device must have one, unique name (i.e. Device 2, Device 3). They can also verify devices to configure them for options such as simultaneous ringing, handover, and outgoing calls.
