# Unified Search

## What is Unified Search?

Easily accessing your communication outlets is just as important as keeping them organized. Often times, you need to tediously comb through emails and messaging history to locate important files or information.

Workspace helps to solve this problem. Users can utilize Workspace's powerful search filters that provide an extensive search by author, date, content type, and more. In addition, filters can be configured and saved just one time, which automatically prompts Workspace to search through the entire platform. This also includes emails from your linked accounts.

You can use also use the keyword search, but as your Workspace grows, it may become challenging to locate specific messages. Use search filters to quickly narrow down your results. Through these filters, you can:

* Search for messages by keywords using the **Related to** filter to find the related content within your conversations.
* Search for messages before a specific date by using the **Before, On,** and **After** filters.

## Starting a Search
