User Presence

User Presence provides information about the user's availability.

The color next to a contact’s name indicates the person’s status, which is also shown on the contact card. Here are the five main statuses:

  • Online (green icon) — the user is logged in, currently active, and interacting via the Sunrise Business Collaboration app (Web or Mobile) by focusing on its Browser tab, or on the Mobile app and the screen is on.

  • Away/Last active (orange icon) — the user is logged in and currently not active on the Sunrise Business Collaboration app. A configurable timeout (e.g. 5 mins) triggers the ''Away'' status, and you can view the user's last active time. The following scenarios will show an ''Away'' status:

    • Moving from the Sunrise Business Collaboration browser to another application.

    • Closing or minimizing the Mobile app.

  • On a Call (red icon) — the user is currently on a call.

  • Do Not Disturb mode (red icon with a minus sign) — the user manually activates this mode to silence notifications on the Browser and Mobile app. However, you can still call the user. For more information, refer to Do Not Disturb.

  • Offline (grey icon) — the user has logged out of the Sunrise Business Collaboration app.
